6th Grade Summer Reading

• Select a novel to read over the summer from the list below. It must be a novel that you have not read before.
  • **These are just suggestions of novels that connect to our units!**
• If you have a different suggestion, that’s fine, as long as it meets the other criteria.
• Novel selections should be on or above reading level (Lexile Reading Level 800+).
• Parents should approve of your reading choice.
• Your novel should be finished by Friday, September 4, 2026. Be ready to demonstrate your understanding of your novel with an in-class writing assignment.
